Me? Shortlisted for a Global Show? Mad

Receiving an email starting with "Congratulations..." always feels good and this one felt great. I've been shortlisted for the Global Design Graduate Show 2022 in collaboration with GUCCI, ahh!!

The project that has been shortlisted is Word Counts based on my dissertation (the same project that was also featured at New Designers 2022). This project communicates the subject and content of the first chapter of my dissertation. The title of my dissertation was, ‘Does modern Islamic architecture hold the same symbolic value as it did in the past?’ Through the medium of type, colour, and paper stock, this project focuses on the key characteristics of Islamic architecture - light, ornamentation, and colour.
