let me reintroduce myself

Hi, I'm Humaira, a student at Nottingham Trent University - well in a month or so I'll be a graduate! Welcome (back) to my blog, it's been a while since I wrote up a blog post but I wanted to get back into it since I have a lot of exciting things to write about again.

Two weeks ago, we got to showcase our finished final-year portfolios at Nottingham Contemporary as a celebration for handing in our work (although some of us had extensions, me included) and getting our foot in the door within the design industry. Family and friends attended the event, there were drinks and music, and it was good vibes all around - even met people I didn't know were on my course (that's normal at uni tho, right?) Everyone should be so proud of themselves because the room was filled with talent and it was such a fun evening!

So, today I handed in my final year university projects! It's been such a stressful time I'm hoping I did the very best I could but either way I did it. It's true what every tutor says when you start the degree, "enjoy it as the years will fly by," and they were right. Honestly, not sure what I would have done without their support, enthusiasm, and advice - they really were the best bunch of tutors I've had. I didn't get to have the hand-in-day photographs I imagined, but I did get these which were just as cute:
